Pride Swim 2024 with Out & Wild

Date: Sunday 16^th June 2024

Time: 3.00pm – 4.00pm

Venue: Sunderland Aquatic Centre

Out & Wild, an LGBTQ+ events organisation, is staging 20 Pride Swims across the UK and you can take part. The aim is to bring families and communities together and we are delighted Sunderland Aquatic Centre will be one of the host venues.

It promises to be a great afternoon and for those who are feeling extra adventurous, the huge Atlantis Adventure Mega Inflatable will be there. Can you complete it? 

There is a ticket price for this event but some of the proceeds will go to supporting Switchboard LGBT, the national LGBTQ+ support helpline which helps thousands of people each year with their sexuality, identity, health and wellbeing. You also get a snazzy medal and cap for taking part.

Tickets are £7.35 per person

You must be 5 years of age and above (5/6/7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on a one to one basis in the water), you must be comfortable in deep water (2m) and be able to swim 25m wearing one of the centre’s buoyancy aids.
